Ebay Feedback

just looking at a BMW on ebay and saw that it was relisted down to a guy that refused to turn up ,he actually lists the profile of the guy that refused to collect the car...now he has loads of negative feedback but he has 100% positive how do's this work...

Simple.

The guy that left the negative feedback actually chose the `positive` drop down.

sellers are no longer allowed to leave negative feedback, it changed about a year ago. totally ridiculous.

i sold a set of wheels and tyres on ebay before xmas, guy never paid despite many attempts to contact him. He then left negative feedback saying wheels were not as described etc etc even though they were still sat in my shop! all i could do is post a comment saying that he was a liar but it only allows you to post as a positive comment.

you have to contact ebay customer support to get negative feedback taken off but it takes ages....

that is an absolute joke then....the guy is taking the p**s and you cannot do a thing about it ,so you have to list it again and pay all the fees ?

you can file a non paying bidder alert with ebay but that takes 14 days (i think) to allow the bidder to respond. if they dont then you get all your fees back BUT you are not supposed to relist the item until those 14 days expire as they say the buyer could get in contact on day 13 and pay for item. so you will 2 weeks further down the line and still no sale.

ebay sucks but it is a massive market, cant afford not to be on it, and they know it as well, so what can you do??!?!??!!!????

With the hike in private seller fees we might see a competitor arise in the near future. It would have to be a competitor with a budget though, gumtree auctions??
