I thought it could be quite good for a .org.uk maybe a blog about global warming, carbon emissions etc....

Some org.uk have some value, such as quality keyword domains or a name which fits the extension like a charity or a good cause business. Off the top of my head a few decent org.uks such as mobiles.org.uk and teach.org.uk have sold for around £100-£300 on DomainLore. Personally i avoid org.uk and stick to co.uk.
