Email Marketing / Autoresponder

Hi All,

Except for a service I am using which enables people to subscribe to my blog posts via email, I haven't done anything with email marketing / list building so far.

Looking at mailchimp as the first provider as I delve into this. Seems to be feature packed.

Any tips / thoughts ?

I've heard good things about Aweber. Might be worth considering as an alternative.

MadMimi are also good. They charge per contact and not per email.

I have had a good study and decided on Aweber. There support team rang me up to ask if I was happy with it, which was a nice suprise.

Kind of had it down to a toss up between mailchimp and aweber, but was swaying towards mailchimp. Will take another look at aweber before I take the plunge.

I also went for Aweber as I found their subscription widgets easier to implement and customize.

Shame is that I am at the stage of collecting adresses and won't be sending out an email untill I will have a significant number of subscribers.

Anyone knows if their is software or a plugin which simply let's you collectr/store adresses?
