Just so you know a Godaddy push will not properly transfer ownership, it would just transfer the domain to another Godaddy account without updating the registrant details.

No problem.

Afraid not though, as far as Nominet would be concerned you would still be the owner of the domain.

The way a .uk domain can be transferred is via a registrant transfer or by updating the IPSTAG if the receiver / buyer has their own tag and the hosting provider you use gives you the option to change it. Godaddy does not have the option to perform a tag change though so you can rule that out on this occasion.
