expired .info whois record for domain

Hi,

I've found a good .info domain which I'd like to register however while the whois record lists the domain as expiring at 23-Aug-2006 21:32:40 UTC the domain has not yet been released.

I've made contact with the .info reg but as I'm not a registrar they won't speak to me. I'd like to purchase the domain, and the whois record has clearly expired, so can anyone recommend a suitable registrar who would be willing to liaises with .info to free up the domain and register it for me.
