Currently holds a PR3 and received approx 1500 unique last month to SEDO parking page.

DL auction page is currently showing over 15,000 visitors - would you say that is not accurate?

Hi,

I'm surprised at the amount of traffic it's been getting to be honest, I contacted DL the day after it was listed to see if they could shed some light as I was thinking to end the auction as didn't want to give any false readings and I got this response :

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the info. I noticed that the domain is getting a lot of
traffic.

Visitor stats shown on DL filter most common bots, but if domain
receives a lot of such traffic, it could skew figures.

I checked what traffic it attracts and it seems certainly more than 50+
a day of real unique visitors.. there are a lot of searches from
Google/MSN, image searches and referral links.

So I guess at least of 80% of this traffic must be from humans. I think
it's safe to leave as it is; the stats only show unique page hits,
therefore any serious buyer would have to make their own due diligence.

If you check the backlinks you will see there is a handful of professionally designed infographics which are shared by a numerous magazines / blogs my only explanation is one of these may have gone viral which has triggered all this traffic, other than that I don't have any analytics linked up but it wasn't getting this much last month.

Hope this helps!
