Fantastic Holiday in Greece

Just back from a fantastic week in Lesbos. The island (like all Greek Islands I think) is really suffering from the impacts of all the bad news about Greece which has put off a lot of visitors who have visions of rioting in the streets, lack of food being available etc.

We just had our best ever holiday in Greece. You will be made really welcome if you go and with the pound up against the euro it's looking fairly cheap again. The Greek's are lovely people and deserve a bit of support I think.

Agreed, best holidays I've had were there. Last one in Kefalonia. The euro has been artificially strong against other currencies for a few years - smoke and mirrors about their debt status - but gettig a bit of sanity back now probably.

I remember my first ever holiday was to the island of Kos. Loved it! Must go back ASAP
