I've got a fashion site that I worked on for quite a while, at it's peak it was getting around 50,000 uniques a month.
I believe it was hit with some form of algo change or potentially from having too many brand links i.e domain.co.uk domainname
Site did make a fair amount when it was at this traffic level £x,xxx per month
Not been touch since last summer really, traffics at a 1-2k uniques month.
Has some great links and mentions from sites such as MoneySupermarket, Grazia, Marie Claire, Yahoo, MSN, Hello, BT etc
Should add it has a twitter account with 2,200 real followers
