I doubt it. Weycrest explain the options clearly:

Fasthosts website says;

'...It's available with most domain names and is free for consumers who register .co.uk domain names.' - Are you sure they are offering a Privacy service for .co.uk and not just referring to the (free) 'opt-out'?

Seems like normal Fasthosts policy of not making things clear.
