Please can someone review my site

Its quite new (about 6 weeks) took about 4 months to develop and its always nice to get an idea if I am on the right track or not as looking at some of the other sites here they are fantastic.

Hi.

The design looks a bit dated, salmon pink on a light pink background doesn't work in my opinion, I would try a light grey, #eeeeee or #cccccc (for the background)

You are using tables for non tabular layout and inline CSS, no need for inline CSS should be in a stylesheet and linked to, this makes editing the site so much easier.

I can tell a lot of work has gone into adding the content to this site, but a bit of attention to detail, a new header (find a good quality stock image of a lady putting on make-up only cost £1 but makes a hell of a difference) and pay some attention to the styling of the text and it would look alot better.

If you do decide to change the styling of the fonts you will see exactly what I mean about using a stylsheet instead of inline CSS, inline="trailing through the html (yucky tables) and changing each style individualy, Stylesheeet=" changing 1 or 2 Values in the stylesheet.

I’d second about colours and images. For your niche more professional look is required. Font styles could also be changed, too much bold above the fold.

Also it is not a good idea to have about-contact-privacy as one page. Get a standard “Privacy Policy” template and put professional looking Privacy page.

CSS / tables etc. – well, it’s your site, if you find it easier to work with tables it’s really up to your personal preferences.

new header is a must and text has to be changed make it more of a pleasure to view tbh the way the text is i would bounce right off the site if i was searching for something in cosmetics to buy but saying all that i can also see the potential in your site and the work so far not much more and you will have a very nice site that visitors will want to browse,buy and come back to

i am limited to the css etc as its a template driven system but i appreciate the colour tips and also the messages about the textual content and wil sort them out over the next few days

i will get to work on a new banner for the site as well
