Wow, sold for more than I thought, and interestingly sold to Alex again, who purchased the pairing from me via DL back in 2015 and then subsequently let the .uk expire. Expensive error I'd assume?

Error was that of my client. Their IT person, who was managing the domains, left the company and his associated credit card was cancelled. Lesson learned! I'm now managing their domains

I'd be interested to know if the person bidding against me did so with the intention of selling to my client (who has footage.co.uk) or was doing so for other reasons. It certainly went for more than I'd wanted.

That you will never know Alex; they could have even been linked to the seller and when they noticed you were bidding for it again, knew you needed it back...but that of course would be unethical and I wouldn't imagine that to be the case.
