So again, does this mean an offer in the region of £7,500 to £9,999, or £1,000?

Domain Manage, I've nothing against you posting every time somebody using you're system gets an offer (honestly) but if all domainers on here start posting every time they received an offer on their own system, were going to need a new widget area in the sidebar called "guess the offer"
otherwise the "recent posts and new threads" section will be choked up with self promoting ads for offers no matter what the offer was.
There could even be prizes for the nearest guess

And I agree, since when was a £1000 offer considered high £xxxx? No point over egging these incoming offers, I know it makes the platform look more attractive but it will just piss people off if they continue to mislead.

The offer says: 'high: ££££' <- please note the colon - not: 'high ££££', in the context of a .org.uk getting £1200 offer (almost of a lifetime in this climate), is in my mind a 'high' offer because if you look around we're not seeing many names regularly selling even .co.uk over a 1.5k?

I take the point though, and we have adjusted the logic, so see if it helps, thanks for the feedback.

For reporting offers on these domains, I can't imagine categorising them on the basis of whether your system considers them 'high' in this context to be useful. But in the case of confusion caused, the use of such wording to categorise the value of the offer would work, so in this particular example, "Offer received: low ££££ GBP" would work perfectly fine. I don't feel it is a detriment to the domain, or your service, to use the word "low" or "mid" to give a rough validation of the offer value.

Regardless, good to see some offers coming in.

That's a bit naive and risks making your service look silly. Whether an offer is "high" depends on the domain. But "high £x,xxx" always means "high £x,xxx".

It's good to see offers being made on names. But why not hold back and report completed sales instead?
