I thought we had moved on this type of reverse hijacking and crazy arbritrary decisions.

Trademark provisions clearly state that a trademark is not a trademark if it is a generic term.

I would have asked for leave to appeal the trademark and put on hold the decision on this name until that treadmark appeal had been decided.

I want to see a cross-section of the domain names, some sites say its 'typos' and 'various spellings', others say its combinations of words.

It could potentially be pre/suf-fix names as well as dashes etc, so like myfreecreditreport or free-credit-report or even freecreditreports.

Typo etc, I could live with but it looks like they just taken the whole pie not a slice.

Most of the list are typo's and pure cybersquatting.

Some of them I would have thought was ok, using a local choice UKFreeCreditReport i may have gone for myself, but by those geo ones included, I wonder if they was just part of the bundle and if they was separate if they would have gone too. (This may be in the case but I only read the doman list.)

Yep good decision, good job I don't buy domains after being up 24 hours isn't it........
