Exact - 1,830,000

Domain for sale > friendsdating.me.uk

With these search volumes, I'm looking for offers of £xxx.

I wasn't aware of that and should probably have checked. However, it wouldn't be the first domain with potential TM issues that I've sold to an AD member!

did same as you, got the .org.uk after seeing the search terms, but then wastold about the TM issue

I am thinking that this could be defended as a generic, even though they have a TM on 'Friends Dating' because it is clearly Friends Reunited - not Friends- they don't have a monopoly on the term Friends.
And their main website is friendsreuniteddating.co.uk

If they have 'Friends Dating' as a trademark it does put them in a very strong position and it could be argued that the traffic is coming from the fact that they exist rather than people spontaneously searching on the term.
