Wanted: Service GA4 Transition

Looking for someone to transition a client's Google analytics tracking from the old style to the new GA4 (they do conversion tracking etc so its not the simplest transition you can do). Ta

Not super impressed with GA4 tbh. Lots of potential to think about traffic in a more modern way, but so painful when there's such little out of the box functionality

Great for conversion tracking and attribution for adword campaign performance and data driven insights, but hate everything else, hopefully they continue with universal analytics after next year as having both at the moment, plus attribution gives a good amount of data to work with. GA4 feels more like they are taking away things that we use, which then results in GA4 being more of a "trust me bro" senario of letting AI take care of everything lol

Using GA4 and universal analytics in parallel also. Can't see Google sunsetting universal on the current timescale because GA4 feels like too much of an unfinished piece of software. Some things are decent, other things absolutely awful and lacking in any kind of intuitiveness. There will be so many folks in the same boat as Admin's client in the original post because migrating is not at all straight forward. God knows how non-techs will manage.
