If you are a UK citizen and get lifted, if you refuse to give your details you get detained until they can find out who you are. This guy refuses to tell them and he's allowed to walk the streets, even after 20 convictions! It's a fecking joke. Even being awarded, he should not be given the money until they can officially identify him.
That's why they queue up at Calais to try and get here. We are the golden goose.
In France they do not give them anything for 6 months. This is because they slow the whole system down. You have to prove you have the means to survive for 6 months. If you can't, you have the choice. Be incarcarated for 6 months (they call them reception centres) or leave. They also have zero rights for the 6 months. Why can't we do that? We are all part of the same European human rights charter. What's wrong with us? As soon as they have stepped on UK soil, they are afforded welfare rights immediately. It's a joke.
Welcome to the UK
Would you like a cup of tea? Now, lets see where we can get you a house and lets start giving you money right now. How about a crisis loan? sound good to you? Excellent, just sign here.
What's that? you have a wife and 6 children? no problem, How about a cosy privately let 4 bedroomed house in the London suburbs courtesy of the UK tax payer.
What a mess. You can't blame them, if i was in the same shoes i would be trying to get here. We need to change. Radically.
Slightly off tangent.....
I would really like to see us going the same way as our Scandanavian friends. Feck all the shit that comes out of the biggest gravy train ever... The European Parliament.. Let's leave the Union and have a trade agreement only. The way our courts prceive the human rights charter is a joke and there is no shortage of lawyers gleefully taking up cases like the one above. They are just as bad. Do they have no morals?
No offence to our Polish, Slovakian and other friends within the European union but I think it is absolutley horrendous they can come to the UK, leave their children at home in their country of origin and are allowed to claim child tax credits!!!! Something very wrong there.
I did read the Poles are now leaving in their droves as the standard of living is now better in Poland than it is here. Maybe we should be doing the same
I would just like to point out if the above in any way sounds like i am racially prejudiced, I am not.
