We have now started to beta test our new website Gites.co.uk

If anyone has a French holiday-let please add it to the website for free for the first year.

We would also love to have any feedback good or bad from anyone that adds a property to the site

I would use a bright colour to distinguish buttons and menu items. Orange is my preference.

Also, do the British actually search on Gites? Or holiday properties? I would search on villas.

Nice site Simon. Personally, on the property listing page I would have the main image above the text on the overview page as it looks a bit sparse if the owner hasn't put a huge description in.

One thing from me is i'd remove the category listing count as one thing i've learned from running a few sites is that categories with 'no listings' dont get visited, obv no need as its displaying 0 listings.
