Godaddy transfer problems

Once again godaddy show their useless support by telling a customer, who has already transferred a domain onto their tag as it shows in the whois, that they are awaiting confirmation from my tag that the transfer is ok.
These are the only crappy registrars I have problems with - does anyone have a contact for a 'human' there with at least 3 brain cells?

i'm guessing youve tried customer support 020 7084 1810

Ive always got a human there and they're generally pretty good when you speak to them

I don't generally phone from abroad because last time I phoned someone they put me on hold and it cost like £30
Thanks I'll see how it goes and phone them as last resort.
