Lovely reported sale on sedo / dnjournal

Gold.net £50,000

Now is Barrys time to shine I think :)

Nice sale, wonder who bought that ? Murt be an actual jewelery because it's a bit late to jump on the buying gold bandwaggon.

yup just saw
no shock, about right i would think
i would much rather have the .co.uk than .net also
although the .com would be couple more zeros !

one sale on dnjournal i thought was extremely LOW was
Rock.co.uk selling for only about $1700
wrong platfrom , was sold on snapnames/moniker
on the right day i see a domain like that selling for 25k

Wow, that's incredibly cheap! I remember coming across this a while ago on the forum when browsing old posts, think Grant used to own it. Was going to make an offer on it a few weeks ago as it's listed on Sedo, but the minimum bid threshold was set to $10,000. :?

Looking at the registration date now, whoever Grant sold it to made an expensive mistake letting that drop as according to DN Journal it sold in 2005 for almost $17,000.

and shine i will my little Franky baby :)

I have some solid offers on the table at the moment and can officially say 100% that GOLD.CO.UK will be selling for a minimum of £125,000 within the next two weeks...

i'll report on the sale once the final bids have been put forward by all parties involved, watch this space...

Very odd one this that was pointed out to me by another forum member a while back. I sold it to Northern Rock, the domain wasn't due to drop but it looks like it was manually deleted and was then registered by a student in China - Not saying anything dodgy went on but I can't understand why a company would delete a domain they'd paid £9k for a couple of years earlier!!

Someone got a bargain at $1700!!!!

Grant

Probably some cock up to do with when Northern rock was bailed out, maybe they thought the bank would be bought out and change it's name so they ditched it without checking its value first :(

Re: rock.co.uk

You wouldnt mind, but thats OUR tax money down the toilet.

Bit off topic, but warehousefinder.info for $11 grand? What's all that about? And the .cz for $7k.
