Google AdSense Alternatives?

Hi all,

Tried to get a site into BuySellAds.com a couple of times and they won't have it and of course won't tell me why, despite the fact it qualifies.....

I've abandoned Google AdSense recently, as the payouts are getting lower and lower.

Has anyone got any other recommendations? Just looking at kontextua.com - but it's a new one on me!

Chitika isn't too bad.

Most of the good ones require million+ pages per month, they also want to taste the pages to verify the page loads. Yahoo are like this too, they want million+ uniques.

The only better option than G now it to sell the space yourself.

Depends on how much traffic you've got as to whether you would get into the better networks, the best alternative ive found which takes everyone in are contextweb ( now called pulsepoint ).

They allow backfills and you should use them as they don't have the capacity most of the time to fill ads 100% , Adsense is normally a good combination with pulsepoint and more often than not you will rarely see a decrease of Adsense , but also gain pulsepoints revenue too.

Downsides.............regular slow page loads as a result of their ads. You've got to keep on your toes and experiment to get the best out of them.

There are others, but if you want to stay clear of obstructing your visitors experience ( which id recommend ) then there are very limited pure alternatives which will generate you equal or more revenue than Adsense.

Direct advertising and buysellads are probably the best bet of beating adsense revenue.........but that requires leg work and is very dependant on the niche.

I been using MadAdsMedia.com for almost a year now on IdealLife.co.uk

It's not perfect option, but it does the job for me

For example for 250 page views with 4 ads on page (1000 ads views served)
my Earnings been anything from $2 to as high as $50
On average about $5

But that's with the click through rate less than 1%
