Google+ anyone need an invite?

Somebody sent me an invite and Google said 'no can do' for my paid-for Google email (they host my domain MX records). What gives?

I think it's only working for gmail type google accounts at the moment. I invited someone who had a google account with a none gmail address and they couldn't get in, but everyone else I have invited has been ok.

I could be wrong though.

I think you are right my request went to my gmail account that I rarely use rather than my personal email where I expected it.

I'm liking G+, its not as polished as Facebook, but there are some new changes afoot with the streams which should make reading a little easier. I think for people like me, who never use twitter, G+ is going to be a bit of a twitter killer. G+ have been pretty smart, in that they are taking on a number of overlapping businesses in one go:

FB, Twitter and Quora. The latter is very interesting indeed, I got all excited about it, but now totally lost interest, so thinking G+ might actually have a better chance of making this work!

I'm looking forward to the business cases!
