Will depend on your screens rez too I think! But it's the ADS to the right they have moved a lot more central to the page now!

2 Weeks!! ?

Must have been rolling it out slowly over all servers in the Google network as I have only just seen it last night.

I bet their rev has gone up though for sure because of it.

@ GDG, it's what I'm used to, been using 800 x 600 screen resolution since I first rented a computer in 2001.

Anyone got a screenshot of how these new ads look, please?

I see what you mean, it leaves a lot of white space for them to stick even more sponsored ads in as well, if the want to, all switch to 800 x 600 to scupper Google :lol:

Whoa, never even noticed that until I read this thread. Just made a quick search and now it stands out like a sore thumb. I'm glad my adwords spend is not too much, I can see this increasing clicks a lot. I prefer my ads just to be displayed and seen, don't like getting clicks

Seems sensible use of whitespace. Some of the other ad companies allow for an 'off screen' column that shows up only under certain resolutions. Maybe that's next for google.
