Google investigated for gathering data from wi-fi networks

One of this week's major internet stories saw Britain’s privacy watchdog, the Information Commissioner's Office, re-examine claims that Google illegally gathered private information from wi-fi networks. Christoper Graham, the Information Commissioner, has now asked Google to sign an undertaking guaranteeing that it will not breach data protection laws again.
