what would be the best handheld for a 5 year old? I was going to buy a PSP but it looks too big/heavy

Just noticed your in the Broch Binny! small world.

My 7 year old uses a PSP but before that it was always his Nintendo DS and (we) still use it so you can certainly get your moneys worth from a DS.

how about the psp slim, apparently its a lot less heavier due to the slim battery. (my six yr old has the fat psp).

Our 5 year old son has a DS Lite and loves it. His 9 & 11 year old sisters also have DSs as well, so they all play networked games. Now our 3 year old wants a pink DS as well..
