Google Adsense Heads up - new tool from Yahoo :)

Apologies if this is in the wrong bit of the forum....I've come across a new tool from Yahoo Answers and thought you guys might like a preview look It's not on general release (yet!) but you can see the basic implementation here --> F1 : Formula One Forum - Forumula1.net

It seems to have some teething problems - the database keeps going down meaning the front page is left with a huge expanse of white space, and it also occasionally has speed problems where it takes up to 30 seconds to load properly - by which time the users will have clicked away. It's a nifty way of getting a bit of content onto the front page and I hope Yahoo manage to iron out all the bugs soon

i can see why Ellis might have thought this was spam..

if you do wait for a while.. a yahoo answers box loads.. with lots of questions relating to the page.

not sure what benifit the web site owner gets as its driving traffic away from the site. (does it make money on PPC)?

As Dec suggests it is a tool that drives traffic away. Having briefly looked at the yahoo site I really can't see any benefit that someone couldnt create in the same period coding
