I'm Aidan, going by the alias aidman - I came to sign up yesterday, only to find I had already registered (a good couple of years ago!!)... Oops! Anyhow in my ignorance, I have been avoiding .uk domains sticking to com, net, org... Times change and I am now paying an active interest, and no doubt there is a lot to learn...

Yes there's just a bit a value in .co.uk names, like ££,£££ in some cases.

I'm a Brit (I should really complete my profile)... I'd say I've got a lot to learn about the industry as a whole, I'm currently more of a casual domainer with a couple of hundred domains under my wing, of that only about an eighth are .uk. Over the past couple of years I've sold a few through sedo and make a grand or so a year leving me with a bit of change once renewal costs have been covered...

I'm looking to learn how to best make money from the domains (aren't we all), and how to pick up better names to begin with... I'm sure I'll get there

The best way to do that is to build your own affiliate sites on them. PM me if you want some more advice, try and include some of the sample domains that you think have potential.
