Complete newbie to selling domains but looking forward to the ride.

I have bought a few over the years that I still have. So looking forward to finding out the best way to get them to give me some sort of return (hopefully).

I'll spend some time this week pouring over this forum but it looks good up to now.

Welcome! Give us some examples of what you've got :)

Thanks

Thanks Mally

Domains registered to me currently and maybe worth something:
computercomplete.co.uk - my company which is still active with a site but out of date so I may sell depending on price.

Others that are just registered with no site:
antiqueauction.uk.com
citycentreshopping.co.uk
citycentreshops.co.uk
homebuyback.co.uk
housebuyback.co.uk
housedebt.co.uk
liverpoolfootballtickets.co.uk
needquickcash.co.uk
propertybuyback.co.uk
propertyworries.co.uk
quickcashhomes.co.uk
quickcashsales.co.uk
regionalshops.co.uk
repossessionsales.co.uk
wantcashnow.co.uk

What do you think?

Regards

John

Welcome to Acorn!

I'd say Liverpoolfootballtickets.co.uk and RepossessionSales.co.uk are the 2 best names you've got - and they're the ones that have got some definite value. CityCentreShopping.co.uk, LiverpoolDental.co.uk & HouseDebt.co.uk might work as directories as they have broad matched searches.

I'm not a fan of the others personally, but that's not to say you can't make them work.

Best wishes,

Ty

Thanks TY

That's interesting. I'll have a good read through the forum this week and see what I need to do to put them up for sale.

Cheers

John

Hello again

After reading through this excellent forum and other resources. It seems the way forward is to develop the name before putting up for sale. Is this correct?

I have built a few websites over the years and I am looking into an SEO course to help get good rankings, keywords etc. Is there anything else you think I am over looking?

Also I did the usual thing...saw a domain that I thought looked good and bought without actually finding out about keywords etc. Can you tell me what you think of the below please? (be gentle )

smartbacteria.com and smartbacteria.co.uk

spatialcomputing.co.uk (I used my crystal ball for this one :p)

Thanx in advance
