Hi All, thought I'd introduce myself. Sometime last month somebody bought a domain name off me, and decided to look further into domain name selling et al as something to do mainly (student with no chance of a summer job!)

Done a fair bit of Freelance web design so might try and develop a website to use for an affiliate scheme, mainly as something to do rather than anything too serious.

I'm from Welshpool (Powys) but spend most of the year living in Cardiff for uni...

As for my best and worst names, I have no idea if what I class as best are any good but for best I'd say:

businesshelper/org
hardcore2u/com
All of which are parked with sedo at the moment.

as for worst I'd probably say
buttermyarse/com bit of an Alan Partridge fan, was going to develop a fansite but havent got round to it yet (plus I don't think its the best name looking at it now!)

Hello! I have to agree with you that selling domains do help, especially if you are a student! It is very tough work though... as I was reading the posts, there are a lot of pros and cons to this business! Good luck in the future!
