Hi everyone,

Just bought a couple of domains, and plan to buy a few more....

Does anyone have any general advice on monetisation. I have zero coding skills. Also, where is the best place to buy? I bought some from GoDaddy, but someone told me Moniker are a good company to buy through.

Is there really a huge difference?

Welcome to AD, are you talking about .co.uk domains or .com?

Mini sites are a good way to monetise domains with traffic and pick some traffic up. There is a good thread on them here.

Is it better to buy .co.uk sites from UK cmopanies, and .com from US?

.com companies don't always have a good grasp on how to deal with .co.uk transfers and updating of things like the Tag.

Isn't Godaddy $10 per year which would be about £10 per 2 year reg, you can buy cheaper than that elsewhere. £5.90 (£6.93 incl vat) for 2 years with UKreg.com

I saw in one of the other threads that you run the selfmademinds website. It's a great site, and very useful.

I noticed you have a Mediajump implementation on there, does it offer a good return. I think a similar thing would work quite well on some of my domains, rather than straight Adwords or affiliate.
