I started a site last month which had a good flow of about 20-50 unique hits a day almost from day 1. I was intending to run without advertising but after self advertising the site im getting way more hits than expected.

ive attached a couple of awstat screen shots of the kind of hits im getting after 1 weeks of pushing the site. Whats the quickest way to turn a buck or two from visitors? ive had close to nothing from adsense on other sites. At present only have a single link to a parked domain left online while testing.

cheers

The most important thing is whats the site about?

If its about something that has a high value or easy sell then making money would be easy. ie the common things loans, finance, electrical stuff etc...

If the sites about hedgehogs or alien impregnation then probs not a money spinner. ie I picked up a domain the other week that gets 30,000-40,000 UV's a day and its absolutely dire... infact one of the big parking companies booted the domain off as it was such crap traffic.

Soon after posting my question I realised its a chicken and egg question.
The sites about surf proxy's so expect its got very little click thou, most users will take what they want and leave. I might try xxx banners or if they exist crack site banners. Either way its going to be the less wanted aspect of the internet.

Got a good link to xxx banner schemes? ive seen a few but know little about this route?

Yep I moved it to another parking co. the other day.. so far

442,308 UVs 1 click $2.05

Not too bad really, even at 1 click a week I'll turn a healthy profit. :(

1 click that is crazy! Must be better ways of monetising that traffic?

Yeah Point it to one of my names!! ;)

Why dont you point it to one of your other names with more general content? surely you would get more success?

Guess I should host it and see where the traffic's coming from, its probs something like banner pulls , iframe pulls or somthing similiar.

The domain is ukcash.co.uk if anyone has any ideas.

Gave up with the site, now pointing to Namedrive which made ££ the first day. The traffic will reduce after a few weeks or month but should at least get a good turn. Also still highly listed on search engines which will help until its dropped.
