Hi, I have owned BritishConsumer.com for about 3 years. I also have the .co.uk, .org, .net, .info and .tv extensions.

I have no use for them anymore, but I know they would be worth something to the right buyer. I've never had any experience in selling domain names, so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Buddy,

Welcome! I am also new to the site and have found lots of great information so far. If you look at the thread associated with my Introduction, you will find some great ideas that others have shared with me. Also, if you go to the Selling a Domain forum, you will find lots of great threads with some really good ideas on how to sell a domain and approach end-users. I am compiling all of the information to use in my process. The info has been invaluable so far.

Options are:

Targetting end users, i.e. sending letters, e-mails or calling.

Using domain name marketplaces, e.g. Sedo, Namedrive etc.

Putting into an online auction that will get promoted by the auction company, e.g. Sedo premium auctions.

Selling on domain forums.
