Same here - good for Spam dodging with little effort.
To keep email flowing from servers to my account, in the last few months I've needed to add SPF records to my DNS, and get a SpamHaus exception for an IP address at home (they're using a SpamHaus list to reject emails from MTAs within ISP's household netblocks). The latter is straightforward on SpamHaus's website - the former is a bit of a pain.
The response from Hotmail's servers usually say if its rejecting/why. Shout if you need any pointers with the SPF/SpamHaus IP address exception.
Can't help specifically with the file truncation I am afraid Lee.
Nick.
