How do you promote a subReddit for your brand?

Has anyone managed to grow a sub (subreddit) for a brand?

I am struggling to get any traction for r/DomainSummit and r/acorndomains

I can understand /r/acorndomains, though sub for Domain Summit has lots of images, various companies/brands mentioned.

Is crossposting the answer to jumpstart a sub?

Do we have professional reddit users here who use it for business?

Hi, curious, have you managed it? https://www.reddit.com/r/dnforum/ is still very small though growing.. 27 users currently

I’d run small, regular posts from your main site or socials pointing people to the subreddit, ask simple questions to spark comments and tag users who might want to weigh in. Crossposts help, but direct invites usually move things faster

to compare it to /r/domainsummit .. 26 posts over last 30 days = in average getting 6-7 views/day..

... yeah.. this isn't really serious.. reddit traffic can be like a tornado.. this just reminds that reddit game is played differently.. and, it is all about the natural conversations and sharing knowledge = the same as here.. and those, who do that > get all the eyeballs

.. need to re-evaluate everything
