Help a .co.uk newbie!

I'm looking for a comparison of .co.uk and .net...

...not so much for parking revenue, but more for potential sale revenue for either brandable (leaseadomain.co.uk) or tech product domains (thinfilmsolar.co.uk).

I am assuming .net is a bit better, unless the product or the brand would be particularly popular in the UK?

(I guess while I'm asking, do people in the UK type in .co.uk or .com? - and why if its both)

From my experience .co.uk domains can potentially be worth more than the .net equivalent.

UK users type in both .co.uk and .com. Why? Probably because like the rest of the world many people are more familiar with the .com extension. A good article here tho:
