How long should I have to wait for an auction buyer to respond or pay ?

It has been several weeks now since auction closed and I have only had sedo emails so far saying that they are contacting the buyer.

I am presuming there is a limit, then I have an option to cancel the transaction.

I'm in the opposite position, I won a auction a long time ago, about a month, and still nothing.

I've been intouch with sedo and they are still waiting for forms to appear from the seller

Hello,

If a buyer doesn't transfer the money into our account within 10 days of a transaction being agreed, the domain seller has the right to cancel it if he or she wishes. That decision is entirely down to the seller, Sedo won't cancel the transaction without the expressed desire of the client. The same goes for people who have bought and paid for a domain but the seller won't prepare the domain name for transfer - Mally and Droid, please contact your transfer agents if you wish to cancel.

I appreciate how frustrating this can be for domain sellers, because it's very frustrating and time consuming for us too. If a transaction is cancelled because the buyer doesn't pay, we lock them from making further bids, and we have made good inroads in decreasing the transfer cancellation rate in the past few months.

Best regards,

Shaun Wilkinson
