Sellers are not at work, buyers are not at work, my whole business and the associated buzz I get from a sale or a purchase are missing.

Am I alone in hating the weekend?

Consider yourself in a good position, I take it you don't have kids to manage!

Kick back and take the time to review your position, question your strategies, plan new campaigns, organise your portfolio, plan for your week ahead, do the boring things you've been putting off for yonks, oh and have a beer :)

Weekends are the time to either relax or catch up on stuff you dont get done in the week when you have customers to attend to.

I do have a daughter but also a 12hr shift every other weekend in my normal 'job'

During the week I use my time working and also tying up deals, knocking up sites and hopefully making a few quid for myself on the side. During the weekend I have no other option than to actually do the work im getting paid for!

I notice how quiet the boards are at the weekend, but for some reason it's when I do a lot of my posting. People may have noticed that I've put a lot of names up for sale all of a sudden, and one of the reasons behind that is that after seven years of doing this, I'd quite like to stop working weekends. I'm not sure if it's true but I've heard there is "real life" out there which doesn't involve the internet. Wish me luck.

Rgds

I think it pays for everyone to have a break now and again, even if it's an enforced one, by virtue of nobody else working :).

Once a bus driver in the Bahamas ask me how many days a week I worked. I said seven he said to me if you dont rest your body, your body will rest you  let that be a lesson for us all :(

I'm currently a student so I don't really know what a weekend is - there are the good times where my entire week is free, and the bad times when I'm getting 4-5 hours sleep every night and working solid during the day for 3 weeks. I enjoy building sites and getting the buzz from domains and although the money can be good, I see it as a hobby that could one day be a self-sufficient business. I guess my perceptions will change at the end of the year when I get into the real world.
