Tons of potential for the right business.

I wouldn't have a clue the size of the self build market, but it must be huge.

Must be lots of businesses that it would suit that do similar things to:

I like the domain, it has reasonable potential. I see it mostly as a website for encouraging the maker movement. So, it has branding and marketing potential, but I would call it reasonable to decent value instead of ultra value.

It's also a good name for a Lego (or similar product) community site.

If the right person decides they have to have it as their brand, it could be worth low £xxx. Realistically that may take years or not happen at all, it's a gamble against the registration costs.

Thanks all for the feedback. We've owned this name since 1998 and also think it has great potential. We were contacted by a domain broker who was looking for a price on this, and I wanted to check that your opinions were in alignment with mine, which they seem to be.

Took a Peruse down the postings - and yep first one, that resonated -.Personally I've got a pessimistic attitude towards the .co.uk (.uk) market - (Still hold about 200 myself though) If it was mine today I'd probably settle on about a grand
