Illustrator users? help!

I have been happily creating images and exporting them as jpegs for sometime now. But then suddently they are being exported in a really jagged fashion as if i've clicked a box without know it. They are def jpeg not gif. See image below:

any ideas? thanks

You might need to check the anti aliasing box when you export
