Are .info names any good with regards to SEO?

Iv bought a couple as the .co.uk were taken, im planning on them being information sites (obviously) but are they any good for making money with, either through ads/affiliates or even using it to run a business from? :?

it depends on what domains you actually own?,if it is a site that issues information like debt advice then that would be fine,regards to something like selling mobile phones then pointless,also very hard to sell to end users,not impossible to rank though.
