Agreed. You should not register any domain names involving other people's trademarks or intellectual property.

well specifically in that case, although "Mac" is seen as a brand, it's not trademarked, and if i am right they don't actually sell a product limited to the name "Mac"; it's something like Macbook or Apple Mac.

the site also seems not to be trying or claiming to pass itself off as official or the actual product. i would imagine you could on a similar note get away with a site called iphone7rumours.com, but i doubt you would iphone7.com
