internetbs price increase - recommend registrar with API?

internetbs have pushed the price of .uk's from £5.00 to £5.90+vat, citing "This increase is to support our continued investment in expanding our TLD range, product offering and customer support in these regions."

I need to find a cheaper registrar with an API, can anyone recommend?
