".io and .me are hot and cool" Vitalik Buterin

Some developers can make any extension work. I can't.

Don't try. Why make work harder for yourself? Better investing the time and money you would spend to get a third rate extension on an even level (if even possible) with the established extension into either purchasing or pushing something else.
The fact is we know really that io and me are not 'cool'. Nor are they successful. The author may wish that so but it's not borne out in the marketplace.
I am reminded of a quote (don't know where it came from) 'Any fool can despise what any fool cannot get'.
*edit* lol I guess those fables did pay off in my childhood - it's a quote from The Fox and the Grapes.

I use .io for my email, I liked being able to secure a short and still "trendy" looking name that most in the tech world are familiar with, I just feel slightly insecure about it, I don't know much about who runs it etc.

"In 2017, .io and .me are hot and cool, .com is established, but stale and boring."

Looks like he needs a lovely old lady to cook him a big sunday roast with extra potatos.

Also, vitalikbuterin.me is available. and so is buterin.me, ... so how cool does he think it is exactly?

vitalikbuterin.io is available, and so is buterin.io, and vitalik.io.

vitalik.me is owned by somebody called Vitalik Demin.
