Hi Guys,

Anybody had any experience with iPhone App Development? Is there anybody on here that can code iPhone apps?

Sean

Try odesk.com or elance.com - with over 250,000 apps developed to date, you're bound to have your pick of thousands of developers on there...

Thanks Edwin, Didnt think of that. I went straight to google and the prices I was getting quoted was unreal.

Well, I have heard that REALLY GOOD app developers are pretty pricey, according to a friend who's had a lot of work done. Supply and demand - everyone wants app developers these days...

[SHAMELESSPLUG]Anyone interested in mobileappdeveloper.co.uk and mobileappdevelopers.co.uk[/SHAMELESSPLUG] :)

bear in mind that anyone who can do this stuff can walk into a 3 month contract on £400-£750 per day. Even a rudimentary app is going to cost a certain amount, unless you are rebranding some generic kind of app (which Apple are beginning to stamp down on more and more).

If DB is just aften an app that utilises his current website, you can get one of them for 200-500 dollars on the websites Edwin mentioned.

If its a full on utility/game/app only app, then anything upwards of $1200

Apple has a lot of free stuff app developers can use, hence all the rubbish copycat apps.

Even if your average at changing web sites DB, you could use google IUI, find it at the coders centre you can do it yourself, and you dont need an apple mac to do it :)

can see a run of appraise my websites soon, when everyone on here has had a go at building their own lol

ADDED .. If you do the bit at iui yourself, you will still of course need $150 worth of work to get you the frame to make your site/app ready for the appstore.

I have one on my phone from a user on here, rob I think, accident app, why not ask him.

Apple are starting to stamp out the Me Too apps though. The most recent casualty are the single radio station apps.

So yes, you *could* do that, but there's no guarantee that it would get into or stay in the AppStore.

I've made a few web apps, just webpages that look like apps though. But can be pretty effective.
