iPhone "screen recorder" feature, and Facebook Video/Calls.

I have a question regarding the iPhone (iOS 11) “Screen Recorder” feature if any of you kind gentlemen/ladies would be kind enough to answer?

Is the mic automatically disabled when recording a Facebook Messenger Video/Calls?

In other words, the resulting video will show moving images but not the verbal communication between two parties?

I know this is the case with many other “recorder” type apps, for legal reasons.

I don't know about prop software but most screen recorder apps record audio and visual, why would apple be different ?
