Is it possible to find owner of Moniker Privacy domain?

Firstly please accept my apologies if this was the wrong forum for this thread, I did look around and couldn't quite work out where to place it.

Do any of you more experienced domain 'sleuths' know a way of finding the owner of a domain? For example check out bigbooks.com, its WHOIS is just the standard Moniker privacy stuff. Doing a IP neighbour throws up lots of interesting typo domains, all of which take you through to a similar landing page with the Swicki design. So, my question is, can I find out who owns this domain? I check WHOIS history but it's always been Moniker.

Thanks, but that site seems to link me through to domaintools.com which I've tried (I'm a member) and the WHOIS history is always showing Moniker Privacy. Unless I missed something?

It'll get you no where though I'm afraid, there's a few WIPOs to this guy, the contact info has been investigated before!

If you email an enquiry about the name to Moniker they do forward it to the registrant.

@DoubleTap: Thanks for that, very interesting. Through my own research I thought I had tracked it down to Mainstream Advertising, Inc. - through the SearchWiki stuff and WHOIS history. It's crazy that these guys won't consider selling, they would make more for some domains by selling them than they would in 10 years of low PPC on their pages, certainly for some of the more niche domains with low traffic.
