Hi guys,
I've made the mistake of registering typos on a number of occasions and I was wondering if there is any way of cancelling those domains very shortly after and getting a refund?

If not it's no biggie, just an annoying waste of the occasional fiver!

Cheers

Don't do it too often, Nominet track the percentage of domains you delete before the month end. Once you have paid the relevant Nominet bill, I think I am right in saying you can no longer get a refund, although you can still release the domain

Long as the error is correct and the right name registered all is good.

Unless of course the correct spelling taken, and NOT a TM or something.

I would imagine mivrosoft.co.uk wouldnt get much sympathy :P

'Deleting domains registered in error
We provide registrars with the facility to delete domain names registered in error before they have been invoiced. This allows, for example, domain names containing spelling mistakes to be deleted and then re-registered with the correct spelling. Domain names deleted in this way do not incur a registration fee.'
