Great Britain's .co.uk took center stage on the Country Code chart this week, claiming five of the first seven entries including #1 WeatherShop.co.uk, sold at Sedo for £5,000 ($8,768). Sedo wound up handling 8 of the 12 sales on the new ccTLD list with the other four deals being done in private transactions. The .co.uk run continued with #2 Prayer.co.uk at £4,300 ($7,540).

thats an estate agent answer - you wouldn't base any serious investment on speculation would you?- I think the facts are the only thing people can make a decision on.

Never really understood why people are so secretive about these bigger deals.

I think for many speculatotrs/buyers it is there idea to keep the prices paid quiet, so as to not inflate future prices. In some ways it makes some sense, but in my short experience in the .co.uk space, the domain prices are plenty inflated already.
