Don't get me wrong I'm not racist or starting a PC debate but the remake of Karate kid starring Jaden Smith ( Will Smiths son ) shouldn't the kid be White ?

It's like Catwoman was played by Halle Berry when the original Cat woman was Whiter than White :?

Would you have Ricky Hatton playing the part of Muhammed Ali or Liam Neeson playing the part of Nelson Mandela, no you wouldn't.

Don't think it matters to be honest, from memory the original karate kid looked spanish to me

I don't think the original was based on a real story/person, so what does it matter?

I just don't think the person suits the character just as I don't think the new BA is suited to the A-team film.

I think you should try and keep the story similar to the original that's all.

Yeah, it doesn't matter if Jaden Smith is black or not. What matters most is that he had put or given justice on his character.
