Hi,

Does anyone know how to find out whether an available name has been registered at all at some point in the past? (Even if only for a few days.) And, if so, is it possible to find out how long it was registered for?

Thanks,
Andy

you could go to archive.org and type the domain name in. that would at least show you if there was ever a site hosted at the domain. Not 100% though as some sites never got crawled by archive.org

Great. Thanks for that. I tried domaintools and it does what I needed it to.

If someone has a .com and .co.uk and the .co.uk forwards to the .com does the .co.uk appear on wayback or just the .com????
