I do think it's a good name. I would take a look round for similar sales, all I could find on NameBio.com is:

worcesterjobs.com $380 2008-08-28 sedo.com

but yours is better than that.

Yes, indeed. In addition, they are the current registrants for a number of JobsIn[cityname].com domains that all seem to show up as having been sold at Sedo for between $1,500-$2,500 over the last couple of years.

Following on from accelerator's post, RochesterJobs.com was reported in DNJournal selling for $7,500 at Afternic back in 2007 - clearly due to US not UK city interests. And DerbyJobs.com seems to have sold at SEDO in June 2009 for $633.65 or $800, depending on which database source you're looking at.

There is a very successful company local to me that run several job sites, they charge from £199 for a listing and have lots of listings - a very successful business model to follow!

If you goto: Allchichesterjobs.com and click 'about us' at the top - you can see all the sites in their network (30 sites)
